My birthday is soon, I am excited. I want a melodica. That is what Damon Albarn plays in the Gorillaz song “Clint Eastwood”. Also The Horrors are streaming their new album online, so far I am a big fan. I saw them two days ago at the Wireless Festival. I am excited for their album to come out. This year has been a pretty good one for new music. Although Radiohead’s album didn’t really live up to their last, there has still been a couple of fantastic music releases that have made my day/month.

and I guess maybe the new Fleet Foxes, though I might need to give it another listen or two.
You might have noticed that neither The Strokes or Radiohead made it onto the list. Thats because I was disappointed with these efforts. Radiohead a bit more than The Strokes, because I didn’t expect much from The Strokes after “First Impressions…” Although I must say that I really enjoy ” You Only Live Once”, “Juicebox” , and “Razorblade”.
